1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment Family Readiness Officer: Katy Weeks

Family readiness is a combat multiplier, equally as important as the individual, equipment and combat readiness. It is the ability of the individual Marine or Sailor and their family to successfully balance life, career and mission events.
The goal of our personal and family readiness program is to provide resource information and training in addition to support services that enhance a Marine's or Sailor's personal and family readiness. A servicemember must ensure their personal and family affairs are in order so that they will remain fully focused on the mission, whether in garrison or in combat. A wealth of important information is available to the Marine, Sailor, and Families to assist them in periods of separation that often come with short notice.
As your Family Readiness Officer, I am your link to the command and will provide you any support needed within my scope of duties. One of my main duties is to provide information, resource and referral to service members and their families. I will all also provide you with official command communications via this website, newsletters, email or telephone.
