Nightmare integrates desalination, solar power, and next generation tray ration heater to sustain disaggregated units
This battalion live-fire exercise focused on distributed platoon and section level tactics and disaggregated logistics.
The battalion saw great success by using multiple methods of logistics to generate and sustain combat power across a simulated island environment.
All levels of leadership were tested on generating and sustaining combat power. This enabled the battalion to sustain itself “across the tyranny of distance” at the small unit level.
